Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Curt Hitch pin and clip for three inch trailer hitch receivers. This hitch pin secures a ball mount, or hitch mount accessory inside the receiver tube of your trailer hitch.The clip then inserts on to the end of the pin to hold the pin in place. The clip is included. This is made from a sturdy, steel construction, and it has corrosion-resistant zinc plating on it, that way it won't be affected by rust or corrosion. It will last a long time.A few measurements to go over with you real quick: the diameter is 5/8 of an inch, and the usable pin length is measured basically from the edge right here, because that's where the clip would insert, so it measures from this edge all the way to where it starts to curve. If we put a ruler on there and measure that, it has a usable pin length of about 4 3/4 inches.This is going to be perfect for those larger hitches, like a 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch hitch, as well as the 3 inch by 3 inch trailer hitch. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number 14-212TR, this is Redline's snapper pin. Snapper pins are going have many uses on equipment, trailers, couplers, pintels and things like that. The quick connect and disconnect feature of a pin like this makes it very easy to use. This one in particular has a double wire mechanism that's going to keep it securely locked during use. It's going to feature a pin diameter of a quarter of an inch. If we take a measurement of the overall length, measuring from the head of the pin to the end of the pin it's going to be about three inches. From the head of the pin to the end of the grip portion right here on that snapper portion, that looks like it's going to measure about three and five sixteenths of an inch. more

Today we are going to be taking a look at part number BD500219. This is the linchpin from Bulldog Hitch Accessories. Now, this particular pin is going to give us a diameter of 9/16ths of an inch. We take a measurement of the overall pin length. That's going to give us a measurement of 3-9/16ths of an inch. The amount of usable pin length that we have, which is measuring from the inside of this clip to where the clip mounts to the pin on this side, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2-3/8ths of an inch.
